The new Zara AW12 campaigns are on the zara website and the new TRF collection looks fantastic! I like the video campaign created and I pretty much love every outfit that Cara Delevingne is wearing, she looks effortlessly stylish.
You've got to love Zara they are consistently getting it right! Interestingly Zara do not advertise, notice you do not see any adverts in magazines. They simply rely on the best store locations and a fast turn around in the products known as 'Fast Fashion'. Zara do not look to predict future trends they focus on the current fashion.
Here is the video.. enjoy!

The Book of Skulls
It is no secret that I have a love of Skulls.. in fact I think many women do based on how much fashion uses the skull as a motif in recent years.
I was recently treated by a special someone to the book of Skulls! What a fantastic little book, it takes a look at the history of the skull and is an ultimate collection of cool and iconic skull motifs. It contains artwork from music, fashion, graphic design and street art and is my new favourite coffee table book!
A few photos of the book with my black skull from Urban Outfitters in the background. All photos shot on Canon G1X.

Adventures in LA
I stumbled across this fantastic video today by Design Studio. It gives a small snap shot into life in LA and how everyday adventures can transform an afternoon, week or a life.
In the words of Design Studio,"These films document how the spirit of each city can influence a moment of kindness, courage, madness or collectiveness, and ultimately, why they mean so much to those who walk their streets."
I particularly love the comments from the guy at the end of the film... "There is adventure everywhere if you are open to it, if you are looking for it you won't find it.. if you are open to it let it come find you!"

Stöðin Roadside Stop
If only all Shell petrol stations were more like this... a concrete service station styled like an American diner on a coastal road in Iceland. It has been designed for the Icelandic branch of fuel company Shell and it has a restaurant and drive through.
I love the typography and styling used for the signage and the glow from behind the font. The dusk setting within the photography really compliments the design and californian feel that it gives.
A far cry from the petrol stations we are used to!

Bay St Louis, Mississippi
We had almost given up when we accidentally drove into Bay St Louis and what a fantastic discovery it was! The locals were so friendly if a little intrigued as to why three brits were in town! We discovered that Bay Saint Louis was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005 and the town was still re-building years on. We were all a little sad to leave what was one of the high-lights of the trip!
Here are a few snap shots of the town and local area. All photos were shot on Canon G1X.

Manchester Northern Quarter Streets
It was a lovely evening in the Northern Quarter today and a nice opportunity for a early evening stroll. Here are a few little iPhone pictures from the walk..

A snap shot from the Deep South
Here are a few pictures from the recent road trip across the USA. My favourite place was a small town called Mobile in Alabama, a quiet sleepy town very much like New Orleans but with a very relaxed vibe and really friendly locals. We had a fun night out there attempting to beat the locals at pool... More pictures to come soon...
